Digital Pathways for Accelerating Collective Decision-Making in Energy Renovation (DPARt)
Many homeowners’ associations (VvEs) want to make their buildings more energy-efficient, but collective decision-making is complex and slow. DPARt develops AI-driven digital tools that support VvEs in understanding options, weighing scenarios, and making informed, shared decisions about energy renovations.
Objective
The goal of DPARt is to accelerate energy renovations in multi-owner residential buildings by improving collective decision-making. Through data-driven, user-centered AI tools and serious games, the project helps VvEs, energy coaches, and municipalities better understand renovation impacts, reduce uncertainty, and lower the time and effort needed to reach shared decisions.
The project uses living labs and co-creation with VvEs, municipalities, and industry partners to ensure that the developed tools are practical, ethical, and widely applicable in real-world renovation processes.
Results
- AI-supported decision tools for VvEs
