Dr. Machiel Bouwmans is senior researcher at the research group Organizations in Digital Transition and lecturer at the Institute for People & Business. His research focuses on the impact of disruptive digital technology on work and on people-centered digital innovation.
Machiel conducts research on the impact of digital transformation on professionals’ work and well-being, the adoption of digital technologies, re- and upskilling, and how digital technologies can enhance professionals’ capabilities. He bridges research and education by guiding master’s students as they explore these issues within the master’s programs Project Management and Human Capital Innovation.
