Tamara Marantika has worked as a researcher within the Human Experience and Media Design research group since 2018. She is involved in practice-based research and design projects that contribute to meaningful innovation in healthcare and education. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Design with a dissertation on empathetic chatbot dialogues, which provided input for the Empathic Chatbot project. Through her contribution to this project, she strengthened her expertise in human-centred interactions. Driven by her interest in meaningful solutions, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology. From January 2026 to December 2028, she is seconded to the Moving growing and thriving together research group, where she focuses on collaborative learning using a socio-technical approach. Her strength lies in combining design principles and psychological insights to create solutions that are not only functional but also meaningful.
Besides her activities within the research groups, she is involved as education coördinator and career counselor long-term studying.
